Brand-new first printed edition of Audion 62, completed 13 March 2021, and originally released in April 2021. Now issued as 50 printed copies, due to demand.
Audion 62 has the usual diverse range of new releases and reissue reviews, and all sorts of articles exploring adventurous music. On the cover you'll find Steve Roach and the third major article on him during Audion's history, chosen purely because it's such a good picture, else Dire Wolves would have be a contender. So, a big thank you to Eckart Bühler for this excellent article. For history lessons, Audion 62 has a run-down on the French prog scene as inspired and spearheaded by Ange, a look at the world of "avant-garde Krautrock" and the Slovak classical rock band Collegium Musicum. There's also the final Auricle reissues catch-up, this time with Kevin O'Neill, and loads of label update/review pages. In fact, I just managed to fit-in everything that I'd planned, plus a few bits more, resulting in a choc-a-bloc issue! (13 March 2021)
