In 2008, after publishing the CD-rom edition of The Crack In The Cosmic Egg, we had interest from people wanting a printed version, however we lacked the funds to actually do one. So, we set about reformatting the bulk of the rom text as a series of magazines that we could then print-off on the Canon laser printer that we had back then. Arranging all the sections into magazine sized portions of an average 36 pages each we ended up with 24 magazines totalling 860 pages. In that we used smaller text, this amounts to three times as much information as in the original 1996 book. The original magazines were priced £3 each resulting in a total price tag of £74! Despite the total price, we sold around a hundred sets.

Recently we had requests of an edition of The Crack In The Cosmic Egg in pdf format. Converting the 2008 edition seemed most practical, and it took just four days to reformat the doc pages and convert them to pdf files, resulting in a 143mb pdf publication set, which purchasers can also print off if they wish. As there are no printing costs here, the price is considerably cheaper than the printed version!
