Editorial...
So, still catching-up after the Audion hiatus, and hot on the heels of Audion 59, I've tried here not to repeat many artists from the previous issue and also feature articles covering the wide scope of Audion's oeuvre. So we have Krautrock: old and new, French fusion, Dutch psychedelic, contemporary avant-garde and electronics, ambient and experimental synth, new prog and underground artists, some label feature / catch-ups, and much more. Many thanks here to Andy G. for his Patrick Gauthier interview and reviews. I'd love a return to the days of having several writers all imparting their unique insight and knowledge, although it seems few are willing these days.
One of the most exciting of current bands and local scenes, namely Karaba and the younger Munich bands, are the subject featured on the cover of this issue, and a similarly fertile current scene from France is also covered here. Not everything I originally planned for this issue is here, so some features have been postponed to Audion 61. It actually didn't take me long to fill-up the 40 pages. As I write this, I'm still yet to finish off the Diversions and decide what to put on the back cover, and then it's over to Steve to correct all my little foibles and typos, etc. So, this should appear in early December.
